RHS Class of 70 - Richfield, MN USA

Concept: Be able to go back in time, visit with friends and classmates from RHS including kids who moved away in grade school and Jr. High or went to Holy Angels.(They and all are welcome) Dance to music from the late SO's,60's and early 70's that we all heard played at Teen Club, Sock Hops, School Dances or Church basement dances while basically having a Blast and a perfect excuse to pay tribute to the 70 year Anniversary of Richfield High School

Where: The Grand Hall at The Bloomington Event Center 1114 American Boulevard West. Bloomington, MN formerly known as The Marion Ballroom (K of C Hall)

When: Friday October 18th, 2024, from approx. 5-10 pm

Music by: for one night only ... "The Richfield Alumni All-Star Rock and Roll Band" made up of members from Richfield or who lived in Richfield who played with bands such as Crow, The Castaways, Brave New World, The Patricians, The Rave-Ons, South 40, Danny's Reasons, The iivin' Daylights, Bittersweet,Peter Z Band, Mike Waggoner and the Bops, The Modds, The High Spirits, Skogie and the Flaming Pachucos, Teen King and the Princes and many others ... including special guests!

Cost of entry: Tickets in advance will be $15.00 each or $25.00 at the door. The expectations for this event would be hopefully 500 + paid tickets, keeping in mind people would be coming and going all through the night. I would hope for planning that most tickets would be ordered in advance.

Profits from the Event: After all expenses are paid the money raised from this event would go to The Richfield Spartan Foundation whose mission it is to provide support for unfunded or underfunded programs that provide co­curricular activities in the Richfield Public Schools. It exists for the purpose of providing support, equipment, material and funds designed to develop, assist, promote, and support the activities of Richfield students.
